ATrack integrates Mobileye ADAS to enhance driving safety
ATrack announced it has integrated Mobileye ADAS from ADAS Mobile Tech Inc. Combining the two systems will allow fleet managers to enhance operating efficiency as well as reduce the risk of accidents, according to the companies.
The ATrack 4G LTE Cat.1 flagship telematics device, AK11 Fleet Hub, is joined with the Mobileye ADAS system to provide users with a safer driving experience. AK11 is compatible with OBDII, J1939, and J1708 protocol for retrieving CANbus data from various types of vehicles. It is optionally equipped with Bluetooth 4.1(BLE) and Wi-Fi hotspot with uplink of 1.5 Mb and downlink of 2.5 Mb for connecting to other in-vehicle devices.
Additionally, AK11 is FCC, PTCRB, and AT&T certified, with U.S. Cellular and Verizon certifications coming soon. AK11 is a multifunctional hardwired unit as well as a plug & play device for ease of installation.
The integration between AK11 and Mobileye ADAS is intended to allow drivers to be aware of potentially dangerous situations so they can take action to prevent accidents. For instance, lane departure warning (LDW) alerts the driver of unintended lane departure, while forward collision warning (FCW) indicates that a collision with the vehicle ahead may be imminent.
