Xylon’s LogiRecorder video data logger for developers of advanced driver-assistance systems
Xylon’s logiRecorder 3.0 automotive video data logger is designed to speed up design and validation of camera-based advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving (AD) systems.
Synchronous recording of up to 12x video channels and >20x network channels is possible. Synchronous video and network data playback enables hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulations. The modular design allows for flexible interfacing, including customer-made modules. The system is reportedly compatible with any automotive video interface, including Tl FPD Link-Ill, Maxim Integrated GMSL, and Ethernet. It works with BroadR-Reach, Ethernet, CAN, LIN, FlexRay, UART, WLAN, DIG 1/0, and GPS vehicle networks. Video and data recordings are stored with a central timestamp. The intuitive dashboard application controls HW configuration, recording, and playback. Standard and event-triggered recording of video and data can be performed before and after the trigger. Triggers and filters can be set up as signals and messages from the vehicle databases. Currently supported vehicle databases include CAN XML DBC, LIN LDF, and FlexRay FIBEX. Four portable SSD Disks (FAT32, 2-8 TB combined) enable hours of recordings.
